Anne Morley

Anne Morley
Anne is a Partner of Barker Booth & Eastwood with over 20 years experience in Family Law. She is accredited by Resolution and the Solicitors Regulation Authority to work in family law.

Anne has built up a strong reputation over the years for her hands on approach to family work, dealing with every aspect of family law, and has been responsible for the expansion of the family department to 6 full time staff together with one part time.

Anne regularly appears in the County Courts, in relation to all aspects of divorce ancillary relief matters involving children, cohabitation and separation disputes.

Anne has worked closely with the local Womens Aid and refuges to provide an efficient and quick service when injunctions and protection is required for any party involved in family disputes.

Rowan Mellalieu

Rowan MellalieuHaving qualified as a Solicitor in 1980, Rowan has practised as a family lawyer in Preston since May 1981. She was delighted to join Barker Booth & Eastwood as a Partner in November 2009 having been with Turners/Turner Pearson for some 21 years. Rowan specialises in all aspects of family law but particularly divorce, children issues and financial matters. In addition, Rowan is doing increasingly more work in the areas of pre-marital and post-nuptial agreements and cohabitation agreements. In addition to the traditional family lawyer Rowan is also a trained and accredited mediator and collaborative lawyer. Collaborative Law is a different way of dealing with marriage breakdown in that each party appoints their own lawyer but instead of conducting negotiations between you and your partner by letter or telephone you and your respective lawyers all meet together to work things out face to face. Each party has their lawyer by their side throughout the process so has their support and legal advice throughout the process.

Claire Mogan
Claire Mogan
Claire graduated from the University of Central Lancashire in 1998, completing her post graduate qualification in legal practice in 2000 and undertaking her training at Leslie Harris Solicitors and Advocates which she completed in 2002.
 

Claire joined Barker Booth & Eastwood Solicitors in January 2007 having practiced as a solicitor following qualification in April 2002.

Claire specialises in all aspects of children law including disputes between parents in relation to children following family breakdown and representing parents where there is social services involvement.

Nicola Dewhurst
Nicola Dewhurst
Nicola is a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives within the Family Department and is based at our Blackpool Office. Nicola has had varied roles within a Solicitors private practice since 1996 and has been practicing law in an advising and representing client capacity since 2004 having been qualified by undertaking legal studies with the Ilex Tutorial College.

Nicola has extensive knowledge in all aspects of family law work. Nicola is able to obtain protection for clients' personal safety, assist in resolving the future care arrangements for children of the family and division of separating parties' financial assets. She is also able to deal with dissolving a client's marriage by the issuing of Divorce proceedings. Nicola has the ability to enter into negotiations with a conciliatory approach although also to issue Court proceedings when necessary and represent clients in Court. Nicola has a warm and sympathetic approach to the work that she undertakes as she understands that addressing family law issues is often a very emotional time for clients.
Rebecca Voss

Rebecca Voss
Rebecca is a solicitor within the Family Department and is based at our Blackpool office. Prior to joining Barker Booth & Eastwood, Rebecca graduated from Liverpool John Moores University and then completed her Legal Practice course at Chester College of Law. After becoming fully qualified, she has been practising law since 2005.

Rebecca has extensive knowledge and experience in all aspects of family law work including divorce, financial matters, cohabitee disputes, domestic violence and private law children work, including attending court and instructing Barristers when necessary.

She works closely with all other members of the Family Department and is also a member of Resolution (formerly Solicitors Family Law Association)

Angela Singleton
Angela Singleton
Angela qualified as a solicitor in 2007 having studied at the University of Central Lancashire. Angela deals with a range of both matrimonial work and conveyancing work from our Preston office.

Angela is experienced in dealing with all aspects of relationship breakdown. This includes assisting clients with their divorce and the division of asset thereafter. In addition Angela deals with injunctions in order to protect clients involved in family disputes and all aspects relating to children. Angela attends Court on a regular basis but can also assist clients with alternative ways of dealing with the issues between them and their former partners.
